La Boheme by the Greek National Opera

La Boheme, by Giacomo Puccini, returns to the National Opera for six performances, from 21 December 2024 to 5 January 2025, under the direction of Canadian conductor Jacques Lacombe.

In esteemed British director Graham Vick’s staging, the story of tragic Parisian love is moved from 19th-century Paris to 21st-century Athens, in a landmark performance on the main stage of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.

Often referred to as the ultimate opera, La Boheme combines magnificent spectacle, a moving story, extreme emotions and unique music. Most opera houses consider Puccini's masterpiece the most appropriate work for an audience member's introduction to the world of opera.
