Let it snow!

Thessaloniki, New Year’s Eve, 2012. A stroll along the waterfront, outdoor tables and gas heaters that spill on to the Ladadika pavement, eating a bougatsa with your eyes closed… and then it snows. Not for real but in the form of small balls of cotton wool falling from the sky. It’s a small touch by a festive shop owner that makes the last day of the year even more enjoyable.
