The Marina is situated in the eastern side of Lefkas Island
, the fourth largest of the Ionian Islands. The geographical location of Lefkas is considered to be its greatest advantage as it is one of the most beautiful areas for yachting. The island is connected with a small bridge to mainland Greece, facilitating the approach to the Airport of Aktion in Preveza.
The marina is literally embraced by Lefkas town and right next to the main harbor, being a distinct town within the main town. Lefkas marina has been operating since 2002 having mooring places for up to 620 boats while there are dry docking facilities for approximately 280 boats.
The infrastructure, the installations, the hospitality and the services being provided by the marina are of a very high standard, satisfying even the most demanding customer. Within the shore area of 70.000 sq.m. surrounding the marina, the guest will encounter a great number of different installations and services, such as a Reception Office (in the Control Tower), offices for the rental of boats, cars and motorbikes, a surgery, port police office, a laundry, toilets and shower facilities, etc.
Additionally, within this, attractive and perfectly in harmony with the natural surroundings and the architecture of Lefkas, shore area, you will find a shopping center with a variety of shops including restaurants, a supermarket, and cafés providing the opportunity to do your shopping or enjoy a meal and a drink with a wonderful view of the boats and the beautiful town of Lefkas. In our marina you will also find a hotel and a conference center.
Within this, in fact, idyllic setting of an artificial island, bridges, canals, quays and areas both paved and with green lawns, several cultural and athletic events take place, as well as exhibitions and concerts. Since 2007, the Marina is being awarded Blue Flag status. The Marina offers a full range of technical boat services. There are dry dock facilities for 280 boats plus a 150-ton and a 70-ton travelift as well as a 60-ton mobile crane to maneuver of boats in and out of the water.
